Practice makes mastery!

Get the best advantage of what you’ve learned, and pave the path for what comes next in your tango journey, through focused practice.

Our prácticas are open to attendants from all backgrounds, schools and levels of experience, including new beginners and Tango enthusiasts that haven’t taken Jessica’s courses.

You’re welcome to practice the role(s) of your choice and individual technique as you please. Most regular attendants practice both roles and are dedicated to train their individual technique as well, making use of the mirrors that are available in our studio.

Each session usually lasts 2-3 hours, up to 22:00, according to attendants. You’re free to leave earlier if you need to, since it’s an open practice time.

What to expect?

A safe space to practice with purpose.

Welcoming vibes, lots of space, good Parkett floor, and freedom to practice whatever you’re working on, individually or in couple.

We stay curious and make space for practice and exploration.

Come and train your new moves and give your creativity a chance.

When there’s no classes before, the session starts with suggested exercises that Jessica designs for the group to train a specific topic, individually and/or on partner technique. You’re free to do them or to train on your own.

The space is then open for you to keep training on the proposed topic or any other of your choice, including just dancing and socializing as you please.

Although there’s no teacher present in some sessions (when Jessica is traveling, they’re hosted by Justina, who’s been assisting her in some classes), you can communicate your questions and Jessica will provide additional ideas to train the next time.

Our motto is already known: Come as you are!

Dance what you want. Stay as long as you like. Leave fulfilled by the good vibes and the feeling of progressing in your dance.

This is a space to:

⭐ Refine and integrate what you’re learning in classes or workshops, regardless of where you learn.

⭐ Work with your partner, alone or with other attendants, on whatever topics you feel like training. There’s plenty of space so everyone can train without disturbing each other’s process.

⭐ Don’t know what to train? Ask us for ideas and grow your dance with intention.

⭐ Practicing both roles is more than welcome. Most regular attendants do.

⭐ Experiment without pressure: Pause, reset, explore. This is a space free of judgement, and we kindly ask you to contribute to it. You’re welcome to ask each other for constructive feedback and grow together with kindness and respect.

⭐ Bring those friends that you want to introduce to Tango. A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere holds your back to share with them your love for this dance.

⭐ Reconnect with why you dance. This is an open space for embodied practice and collective growth.

Bring good vibes and an open mind to co-create a welcoming space for all.

You’re welcome solo, with friends, beginner or experienced, dancing the role(s) you want, wearing what makes YOU feel good. All combinations are welcome. Respect and consent are the basis.

All levels are welcome. Don’t be shy to join regardless of where you are in your tango path. If you’re totally new to tango, you’re welcome to join and learn basic moves from the other participants.

Arrive on time to get the best advantage of the time available and the exercises offered at the beginning.

Join with or without a dance partner.

You’re welcome to practice the role(s) of your choice / both.

Students, unemployed and people with low income can apply to up to 20% discount (to apply, send me an email with the % off that you need to participate).
