One that shortens your path to connection and improvisation. Not by rushing or expecting overnight miracles, but slowing down to help you listen deeply — to your body, your dance partner’s, the music and the space.
Tango Immersion is a module-based program where technique meets connection and improvisation, in a coherent path of embodied learning. It invites you to slow down, listen, and train consciously.
On each monthly edition, we meet for a Tango Immersion Weekend of in-depth learning, blending movement technique, partner communication, musicality, real practice, and a welcoming milonga to anchor learning into social dance.
Between Tango Immersion Weekends, a Focused Práctica supports your growth keeping your body, technique, and connection alive until the next Immersion Weekend.
The result: lighter, clearer, more connected dancing in a shorter time span.
Whether you’re new to this approach or already part of the Tango Immersion family, you’re welcome to join a practice that goes deeper than mechanically repeated steps. A practice that transforms how you move, relate, and express yourself through Tango Argentino.
The 2026 Tango Immersion Program unfolds as a 10-edition journey across the year.
With a fine balance of theme progression and adjustments to the group’s needs, each Tango Immersion Weekend offers a clear focus while remaining connected to the whole.
As life and learning aren’t linear, we revisit essential tango principles — embrace, grounding, connection, timing, dialogue, expression, musicality — in combination with every new topic. Each time with more awareness and choice.
You can think of the year as a spiral: each edition deepens what came before, nothing (and no one) is left behind, and every return brings new understanding.
Each Tango Immersion edition offers:
A clear thematic focus,
space for individual and partner exploration,
guidance adapted to your level and experience,
time to slow down and integrate.
While the themes evolve across the year, the core principles remain consistent, allowing newcomers and returning dancers to work side by side with depth and clarity.
Each Tango Immersion Weekend unfolds through progressive layers on a theme:
from strengthening foundations (Tango Essentials Lab) to individual clarity (Workshop 1), to relational application (Workshop 2), to expansion (Workshop 3) and integration (Workshop 4) — allowing both depth and flexibility.
Between Tango Immersion Weekends, the Focused Prácticas keep your progress alive, supported by a mindful tango community.
You can register solo or with a dance partner, and learn the role(s) of your choice (I encourage you to learn both).
THE 2026 PROGRAM INCLUDES:
10 monthly Immersion weekends (Jan-Nov, with a pause in August)
Each edition includes:
a Tango Essentials workshop for new and returning dancers (all levels),
4 Thematic Workshops for participants with previous experience,
a Focused Práctica for all levels,
and a welcoming Milonga.
Focused Prácticas between Immersion Weekends
They keep your process alive until the next Immersion Weekend. Each Focused Práctica includes a guided exercise to help you get started with a suggested focus — you can follow it or do your own, no structure imposed. From there, you’re free to practice at your own rhythm. Participation isn’t mandatory but strongly recommended to integrate what you learn in the workshops.
A new add-on module opens its doors for tango and movement enthusiasts with love for detail, aspiring instructors and teachers:
The Tango & Movement Pedagogical Path stands on its own and runs parallel to the Tango Immersion program (it takes place on a monthly basis, before the Sunday Tango Immersion workshops).
Join to learn about biomechanics (how your body and movement work –in general and specifically for Tango Argentino), movement analysis, teaching methods and pedagogical strategies (useful not only for teachers or aspiring instructors but for everyone interested in learning to learn), with occasional guided micro-teaching dynamics for those interested in the role of instructor. Participation is subject to enrollment in at least 1 workshop of the Tango Immersion program, ideally the Tango Essentials Lab.

UPCOMING FOCUSED PRÁCTICAS BETWEEN IMMERSION WEEKENDS
Jan 25 · Feb 1 · Feb 8 · Feb 22
20:00-22:00
They take place at a different location than the Tango Immersion Weekends:
📍 EWTO Akademie – Haydngasse 1, 1060 Wien
Each weekend stands on its own and offers depth, clarity, and embodied tools you can take home with you.
If you’re briefly visiting Vienna, or life circumstances make long-term commitment difficult, you are welcome to join the format that suits you.
The Tango Immersion work unfolds over time. Continuity is what allows the practice to deepen — in the body, and in the group.
If you can commit, your presence helps shape a deeper, more held space for everyone, and paves your path to deeply transform your dance.
A complete experience, one step at a time — Perfect if you’re traveling, or curious to experience an Immersion Weekend before committing further.
On editions with guest teachers, the Single Immersion Weekend price may vary. It's announced with the specific schedule.
Consistency, integration, and shared pace — Six editions allow you to build continuity, refine awareness, integrate what you learn, and grow alongside a stable group. A good balance if you want depth without committing to a full year.
Payment in 3 installments is possible (€245 each, the first 3 months)
A living practice across a full cycle — For those ready to let tango become a long-term embodied practice. This option offers the deepest container for transformation, and supports the strongest outcomes.
Payment in 4 installments is possible (€295 each, the first 4 months)
If you’re registering to single workshops, or the Tango & Movement Pedagogic Path, please fill out the form:
The Tango Essentials Lab is open to all levels, no previous experience is required to join.
The Thematic Workshops are better suited for participants with some previous experience, offering layered tasks for different levels.
If you're new to Tango Argentino, it's recommended to take the Tango Basics Course, a few sessions of the Tango Essentials Lab, or a set of private lessons to speed up your start into the dance, before joining the Tango Immersion group.
Continuity and consistency are the only shortcut to become a tango dancer and develop a stronger shared rhythm with the group. Nevertheless, Tango Immersion is a flexible program. Each Immersion Weekend is complete in itself and can be joined independently, even single workshops. Some dancers come from far away and only follow the Immersion Weekends arc, as the program offers tools you can take home to continue practicing on your own or in your local tango community. Others dive-in fully, combining the weekends and Focused Prácticas with the Tango Basics course and even private lessons for a total immersion. And some step in when a theme resonates or their agendas allow. All ways of engaging are welcome.
Missing an edition does not put you “behind”. Each return is another entry point into the process — core principles are revisited throughout the year to allow new participants to orient themselves, and returning dancers to deepen their understanding. Participants who register to the semester path or the yearly arc, and miss a full Immersion Weekend due to illness or unforeseeable circumstances, can catch up in the Focused Prácticas and attend a semi-private lesson with me on the next Tango Immersion Weekend to clarify questions if needed.
Typical classes are often fragmented across weeks — and most Prácticas actually function as Milongas. The Tango Immersion Program offers you immersive weekends and in-between integration sessions that we call Focused Prácticas. We give your body time to go deep, explore, absorb and transform — allowing you to really own what you learn, and saving you time in the long run. You can see the Focused Prácticas as a training lab that supports integration, repetition to build body memory, and group coherence between Immersion Weekends. Each Práctica starts with a guided exercise and suggested focus — you're welcome to follow it or do your own, no structure imposed. From there, you’re free to practice at your own pace. They are especially helpful for dancers who want steady continuity and a shared practice rhythm. While not mandatory, they play an important role in how the work matures over time. It's an open space for mindful practice, where dancers from the wider community are welcome to join regardless of where they learn.
No. The focus is on body awareness, embodied understanding, musicality, and improvisation — skills that support social dancing, connection and personal expression rather than memorized material.
No. It’s enough to be curious about movement, body mechanics, and the ways we understand and learn a dance — especially Tango Argentino.
I’m naturally drawn to learning in detail. That curiosity is what led me to join the Tango Dance Instructor Training I completed in Buenos Aires, and everything that followed. At the time, becoming a tango teacher was not my intention. Learning about movement and how to learn, offers valuable tools: it helps you discern what truly supports your process as a student, wherever you go. And supports your relation to movement on a deeper layer. For some, this path may eventually open the desire to share knowledge with others. For others, it simply enriches their personal journey, bringing clarity, autonomy, and confidence in their own practice. Both motivations are equally welcome to join the Tango & Movement Pedagogical Path.
*This module is an add-on (not included by default in the Tango Immersion registration. Please confirm your registration if you're planning to join)
Payment is possible in cash, bank transfer or card. You'll receive the instructions via email (check your spam folder if you don't receive it shortly after registering). Payment in installments is possible for the semester and yearly path.
The current standard price is secured for participants registered to a semester or yearly path. There will be guest teachers in some editions of the Tango Immersion Program, whose perspectives complement and deepen the ongoing work. For these editions, single-weekend prices may be adjusted accordingly. My intention is to keep the pricing transparent, fair, and stable, while allowing the work to remain sustainable over time. If adjustments become necessary in response to broader external circumstances, the changes will be communicated clearly and in advance, and will be applied with consideration. In any case, existing semester and yearly registrations will remain protected at today's price throughout the year.
Yes, students under 30 years old and people with low income or unemployed can apply to a partial scholarship of up to 30% off. Apply via email or in person, indicating the % support you're requesting.
Anyone can learn tango, each at their own speed. The body only learns by dedicated attention, repetition and consistency — How soon you'd like to feel comfortable in your body and with your dance is a good parameter to decide how much it is worth committing. I support your commitment with consistent guided practice, by waiving the entry fee for the Focused Prácticas during the time of your subscription when you register to the semester or yearly path. A welcoming community that values depth, exploration, and collective growth supports you as well. Tango Immersion isn’t just a class program. It’s a different way of dancing, learning and moving in the world. A student-centered approach that meets you where you are, making sure you learn in-depth: cleaning your technique on time; avoiding the accumulation of often overlooked issues that are harder to correct later; holding a safe space for you to grow into Tango Argentino from every aspect of this unique dance. The ingredients await you, it's up to you to let them act.
The Tango Immersion Program unfolds through progressive layers*, and each Immersion Weekend reflects them, moving from individual clarity to relational application, to expansion and integration, in a mix of individual and partner work.
While a clear roadmap is already drafted for the year ahead, I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs. My work is strongly student centered. Therefore each cycle is shaped by the people in the room: their experience, questions and needs. That's why two classes of mine are never exactly the same, even when revisiting a "repeated" topic. You'll always take something home when open to the process, and can shape the year's program by simply showing up. Coming regularly, and especially in the first weekends of the year, means actively influencing how the program will unfold.
*The main lines of work that sustain my approach to Tango Argentino are: body awareness and mindful movement, tango vocabulary (from popular tango figures –understanding, not copying them– to specific techniques, musicality, and everything that shapes the "tango grammar"), the journey of connection, improv exploration, and the social dimension of this dance.
