Most beginners that attend both weekly lessons and Prácticas regularly are ready to join Grow your Tango after 1-3 months, even sooner if already familiar with movement and body awareness.

Everyone can learn tango, each at their own speed.

How soon you'd like to feel comfortable in your body and with your dance is your parameter to decide how much it is worth committing for you.

Tango is like learning a language: the more often and regularly you study and practice, the fastest you become fluent.

The Tango Learning Pass supports you with weekly classes and several sessions of guided practice. A welcoming community that values depth, exploration and collective growth supports you as well.

This isn’t just a class schedule. It’s a full learning ecosystem that helps you get on the dance floor sooner than later. You're free to decide your own pace if you have no hurry or life gets busy. Greatest progress happens with continuity. You choose your pace.

No. Dance shoes or special clothes aren't required. Nevertheless, some shoes support your body's health better to dance Tango. Find guidance here, and reach out to me for recommendations if you're considering buying dance shoes.

They are practice sessions where we give your body time to repeat, explore, absorb and transform what you learn in class, allowing you to really own every move and saving you time in the long run. You can see them as a training lab that supports your Tango learning.

They play a crucial role in how the work matures over time, since repetition builds body memory and guidance makes sure you're repeating the right thing. They also help you integrate in our dance community and ensure group coherence week to week, since those who miss a class can use the Focused Práctica to catch up, and those who only attend the Tango Immersion Weekends can stay attuned.

They're an open space for mindful practice, where dancers from the worldwide Tango community are welcome to join regardless of where they learn, so you also get to interact and practice with different people beyond classmates.

Consistency matters more than intensity.

Dancers who combine weekly classes, guided practice and social dancing tend to progress faster and feel more confident. That's what the Tango Learning Pass helps you build with ease.

Some also combine the group setting with private lessons to benefit from professional personalized 1:1 feedback.

    What my students say

"Having been a classically trained dance instructor, I can tell you that Jessica has a gift for teaching dance in a very accessible way. She does a fantastic job giving students the important basics without all of the stress or fuss that often accompanies learning dance. Additionally, Jessica's choice of a milonga was amazing. It was a comfortable and very inclusive space that allows anyone, from any background, to enjoy the evening. Jessica, I can't thank you enough for a wonderful time!!"

    Devin

"You do so well to let beginners slide easily with fun into the subject Tango Argentino with all your variating exercises for body and soul. A great kind of teaching."

"My husband and I signed up with Jessica as a favor to our son, who had taken a lesson with her and wanted us to step outside our comfort zone. We're not dancers. Never have been, but Jessica's approach was so easy and friendly, we left feeling there was hope for us to learn a new activity. Thanks, Jessica! Our hour lesson was fun and worthwhile -- we now understand why so many people love tango!"

    Karen

"I really like that we learn tango from first principles, which is much more approachable for me than having to memorize complex choreographies."

"The class with Jessica went by waaaay too quickly because we had so much fun, and got to work on our dancing a lot. During the class she gave us the tools to go out and social dance at a milonga, which we did the same night! She focused on the connection in the dance couple, and explained how the social dancing works. She made us feel free to experiment and improvise, which is within the spirit of the dance itself. She was great at explaining, and had good answers to all our questions. This is perfect for anyone who wants to learn and gain the confidence to go out social dancing!"

    Caroline

"More and better than expected. I have never been a dancer but within minutes we were gliding around the space. Jessica explained, then demonstrated, the almost imperceptible ways of communicating movement and direction. I was so impressed that I contacted Jessica about another lesson. Buenos Aires is so amazing that I didn’t really need another reason to return but Jessica gave me one anyway."

    Kevin

"Jessica is a wonderful teacher. I had a big increase in my anxiety during the lesson (old habits) but Jessica handled my needs wonderfully and got me back to normal very quickly. She had a mixed group of dancers and did a great job personalizing the lesson for everyone. She took good care of us and provided a wonderful experience for everyone. I would definitely recommend Jessica for anyone who wants to explore what tango is really like."

    Jennifer

"My wife and I have wanted to dance tango in Buenos Aires for quite a long time. We have taken a visit to a classical milonga and after seeing the ritual attending the event and the packed dance floor of experienced dancers we wondered if we’d ever be able to gain enough mastery and courage to achieve our goal. Jessica is a talented and sensitive instructor who works with you to find the kind of experience you are seeking. For us it was finding a milonga that was comfortable, welcoming and accepting of beginners. We began with an hour long lesson to give you some helpful strategies for handling the dancing. We then left the studio for a milonga that had all the qualities we sought, including live music. The evening went perfectly and we’ve now accomplished our goal. Jessica was always present to guide us as to what to do. She has a passion for the dance and its culture which is contagious and inspiring. It was a magical evening for us!"

    Tim

"Thank you so much. I feel really comfortable with you as our Tango mentor. You give us a familiar feeling live and in your emails. I can feel that you are really happy to bring people close to feel and dance Tango Argentino and that you see your trainees not only as customers which bring money. I too like your kind of teaching. Its more comfortable than in dancing schools and without pressure. It makes me so happy that my hubby now after so much years we are married is ready to try a dance with me. I think we found the right way with choosing you and your kind of teaching."
