You feel it so rarely (or never so far) that you start wondering if it really exists.
What’s that magical connection everyone in Tango Argentino talks about?
And how can you make it happen instead of waiting for a lucky day to find you?
You know the steps, the music…
Your dance most generally works, but something feels missing.
The dopamine hit of learning more figures and typical tango technique adds something to your dance, but not what you’re looking for.
A deeper longing persists under the surface.
You keep waiting for that magical connection everyone talks about to happen.
Perhaps you’ve already felt it, only for it to slip through your fingers before you can feel it again.
You’ve been diving into the dance long enough to realize there are no recipes.
But also know it doesn’t mean you’re powerless.
You just keep searching the ingredients, and are ready to try a different approach.
Connection Alchemy is a movement research-based group for experienced dancers who want to deepen connection, adaptability and quality of movement beyond tango figures.
This is not a choreography class, a performance group or a place to collect combinations.
Connection Alchemy is a space for research, experimentation and deep refinement of how you move, listen, adapt, and communicate with your dance partners through movement.
You might be the right fit for this space – and the space for you – if:
◆ You already dance regularly but feel something deeper is still missing.
◆ You value connection and quality of movement more than showing off.
◆ You are willing to revisit fundamentals at an advanced level.
◆ You are curious about exploration, reflection and embodied learning.
◆ You want consistent practice with committed dancers.
Traditional “level” matters less than openness, consistency and willingness to research, observe, question and refine.
ContacTango dancers curious about how Tango Argentino actually works as a dialogue-based dance within an embrace are more than welcome to join.
The group is based in Vienna, Austria.

I create spaces where people can slow down, arrive in their bodies, and reconnect with what is already present.
Coming from a background in social sciences, my relationship with movement began with Tango Argentino, a dance of listening and encounter that taught me that true connection begins in sensation.
It expanded into yoga, conscious movement practices, somatic education and different fields of bodywork. I got fascinated by how the body holds relationship patterns, how attention shapes encounter, and how presence itself can transform ordinary moments into meaningful ones.
Interestingly, while this path was more clarifying for my approach to dance than many tango classes I attended before, friends at the Milongas started to ask what I was doing, if I was taking extra classes and where.
They noticed something different in my dance.
Something they liked and wanted to reach for themselves.
Honoring the teachings of my Maestros and Maestras, and the diversity of my experiences, I’ve been developing for more than 10 years my own way to help others access the art of Tango Argentino in its holistic nature.
For me, Tango Argentino is a philosophy of life. A path to freedom, empowerment and personal transformation. A door to a deeper connection with ourselves and others. It is culture, dialogue, and community. Definitely way more than a mere collection of memorized steps to copy and repeat. A practice where mind, body, and emotions meet.
When learning with me, you can expect a mix of all this.
Rather than teaching people what to fix, I invite them to learn how to meet: themselves, each other, and the shared space that arises between them.
A path that keeps unfolding and bringing so much into my life, now brings Connection Alchemy to accompany you in reconnecting with what is most alive in your dance.
Connection Alchemy invites to an exploratory process with no fixed formulas.
This application helps ensure that participants share similar intentions and expectations for the process, and that neither you, me, or other participants lose precious time.
